Jewelry designer Dana Lorenz showing us the ropes....literally.
The beginning stages of my necklace!
A few nights ago Dana Lorenz, the designer behind Fenton/Fallon, hosted a DIY jewelry party in her Lower East Side store and the phrase "kid in a candy store" couldn't better describe my excitement. When I walked in and saw an assortment of egyptian charms, heavy silver chains, and vintage pendants I knew it was going to be right up my alley.
Putting the jewelry together wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but it took a while to get used to using the pliers and trying to hook one into the next while trying to make something actually look good...but the amazing part about the Fenton/Fallon style is that the more unique and imperfect it looks, the better it is!
