Hey guys! Happy Friday! I wanted to share with you today a shoot that I did with Elle Japan a few months back in partnership with Seibu department store, which is one of the largest department stores in Japan. It was exciting to bounce around New York and really get some really classic city shots. The clothing was also more designer than I usually sport regularly on the blog which was super exciting because I always look to these designers when I'm out shopping for inexpensive things that are still on budget. We shot key spring looks from designers like Rag & Bone, Milly, Elizabeth & James, and Theyskens' Theory.
I'm also a huge art lover, which I feel like comes through more through architecture on the blog rather than writing about it, but every once and while I find a way to sneak some on here. If you've been reading for a long time you may remember some posts that I've done that include Hunt Slonem bunnies (here, here, waaaay back here). I'm completely obsessed with his work, especially the bunnies, so when I stepped on set and one of the shots was in a restaurant that had a whole wall of his bunnies, it felt completely fortuitous. I felt so grateful to be able to have something tangible that represented my love for art and fashion.
Working with Elle Japan is always such a pleasure. One of my first "blogger jobs" was with them and Tiffany in a same capacity (see here) and I'm so grateful to have worked with them along this crazy journey!
I'm busy shooting some more content for the next month so I hope you have a good weekend and I look forward to sharing more!
