Happy Fitness Friday! I'm so pumped to bring you this partnership between Adidas and Refinery 29 that I've been working on for my fitness posts! This particular shoot took place on the Brooklyn Bridge and it really is proof that you can make workouts happen anywhere. I'm always partial to using what you have around you as your gym so it pushes you to be outside and get creative and not get bored. We had a trainer on hand from Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp to put me through some of the tough military style workouts that they offer, and man, was it tough. It was especially tough because I had to do some of these moves over and over and over to get the shot!
I've worn some Adidas activewear before (here) and had already been familiar with this particular style of bra, which is one of the most supportive that they offer. Aside from the support, the design is super chic and flattering with the V shape. I usually wear sports bras to exercise without t-shirts and this one has enough fabric to it so I don't feel too exposed. The Energy Boost shoes are completely unique with the technology the Adidas pioneered. When you first slip them on they feel ultra bouncy. They are so lightweight (more like a sock feel than a clunky sneaker) and I've been wearing the blue color (you'll see that next week) to run errands and to the airport in a more ready-to-wear way.
Jump on over to Refinery here to read my Q & A and also to get more detailed descriptions of these exercises with commentary from the founder of the bootcamp, Ariane Hundt. Hope you enjoy it and have a healthy weekend!
