Happy Fitness Friday! This week has been a mess for most of the country and I know getting up and going out on the road to the gym just may not be an option (looking at you, Atlanta). I always love workout moves that don't require tons of equipment and allow you be resourceful wherever you find yourself. Toe taps are a really easy exercise to add in to you rotation. All you really need is something about knee height (bench, large step, etc) and lightly touch your toes to that surface, alternating back and forth. It's similar movement to jumping rope (light on your feet!) but you have to engage your core and challenge your balance. I'm a big fan of walking over running and adding in exercises in intervals to break up the walk and challenge your muscles and heart rate. I recommend walking for 2-3 minutes, break for 10 toe taps, then back to walking and repeat as desired.
Have a healthy weekend!
