Happy Monday and welcome back from the holiday weekend! I thought it would be fitting to kick this Monday off in a healthy, inspiring way to help keep the motivation up to stay healthy around the holidays. The cold weather can be a bust when it comes to getting up and moving so hopefully you can take some inspo from a recent fitness challenge I did with Athleta and Well+Good NYC! We competed in a biathlon that consisted of 2 back-to-back fitness classes in the surrounding Flatiron area. I chose an intense FlyBarre class followed by an intense but centering Yoga session. The two actually complemented each other perfectly because I felt that I needed to not just strengthen (which barre offers) but also lengthen and stretch. It really was a very well-rounded experience and everything was done warmly indoors. Yay!
I chose to wear the skirt/pant combo because it gives that little extra coverage around the butt and hips. The tank has 2 layers as well so I loved the look of layering everything on top of each other to add that extra cool factor.
*I also do have very positive reviews of this Tumeric juice that was at the biathlon. I looked it up when I got home and it's actually more of an herbal formula rather than a juice which helps preserve the full nutrient value in each ingredient.
