They say what you wear in Miami, stays in Miami. Actually, no, no one says that, I just made it up but this city does feel like it's the Vegas of style. The color, the heat and the vibrancy of this steamy city makes you want to embrace it with open arms and less fabric. I couldn't really think of a better place to wear a printed bustier shorts suit. Actually, I may never think of a place to wear it again but I'm so glad it had a moment. It has great structure and fantastic color and needed nothing else but a very simple shoe.
I stayed at the Shore Club with the fantastic team from Cruciani who dazzled us with their Italian charm and lust for life. We also attended a charity gala that they were sponsoring which benefited the Miami Children's Hospital. It was a great way to mingle with the local crowd and experience the nightlife in a way that gives back rather than the stereotypical club scene. I was very inspired by the ocean (obvi) so I played in a palette of blues that ended up coordinating with the hotel grounds perfectly. I was so happy to have spent such a great weekend with some amazing women and I hope to make it back to Miami over the winter for some more sun!
