I can't believe that the weekend is over already! The wedding was one of the most amazing things that I have ever been a part of.. On Friday I attended the bridesmaids' lunch at Roxiticus Country Club and chatted with the other 'maids about the events that were planned for the weekend and how excited/nervous we were to commence.
I chose an emerald green Cynthia Steffe dress that has the most amazing cut on the body and is finished off with a leather panel along the top and across the shoulder and collar. I am so in love with the long hemline...I find that when a body conscious dress falls right below the knee it can emphasize your curves in all of the right ways.. Plus, it looks super lady-like which is perfect for a nice proper lunch with extended family!
T-strap shoes are so perfect for the whole "lady-like" trend and I actually think that this shouldn't be a "trend" but a consistent way of dressing.. Regardless, these shoes were used on the Ruffian runway around '07 I think.. I bought the pair literally straight off their runway a few days after the show.. They actually still have the sticky pads on them that they used so the models wouldn't fall. These are still one of the best shoe purchases to date because they are a classic color and shape.
I have so many pictures from the wedding that I will share soon!
