Steve Brings It Holiday: Met Edition #2

Lindsey Calla

Shoes: Steve Madden Rosale shoe, Dress: Cynthia Steffe, Coat: Ted Baker (last year, similar, similar), Bag: Zara, Cuff: Ann Taylor (similar, similar)

As I mentioned in my previous post, I've partnered with Steve Madden for the Steve Brings It campaign!  My theme is Met Gala and I've had such a blast planning outfits and thinking up ways that I can incorporate the theme.  You can check out my personal page here to see it all, plus some other yummy shoes that we've selected to go along.  For this look I was inspired by the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas wing of the Met, which is mostly tied in with this tribal clutch and my "Wonder Woman" gold cuff resembling sculpted Pre-Columbian gold.

This post is really about the music portion of the party planning.  Now, I know absolutely nothing about music other than what's on the Top 40 so bear with me.  I actually went straight for The Devil Wears Prada and Sex and the City soundtracks for some inspiration because both have that glamorous vibe that could work for this theme.  I know.

City of Blinding Lights- U2 (Don't you remember Anne Hathaway walking up the Met steps in TDWP?)

Beautiful- Moby

Look at You Now- Katy Herzig

Walk Like an Egyptian- The Bangles (Couldn't help myself)

Party - Beyonce

Don't forget that you can use the code SaucyGlossie15 to get 15% off these shoes or others on with free shipping! Wohoo!  Is this not the best time to invest in some cute holiday party shoes?

Check out the full campaign here, if you'd like.
