Last night I attended the LMFF kick off party at the Governor's House in Melbourne. Hosted by Harper's Bazaar, the party took on a bit of a Wonderland theme to coincide with their latest issue. Guests were treated to a rather interesting Elvis impersonator performance followed by a runway show of some of the Wonderland designer looks from the issue.
I had a chance to meet and greet all of the finalists for the Woolmark award and everyone was so friendly and warm. Aussie fashion people are very eccentric and ooze creativity.
Thanks to Belinda for the amazing Vanessa Bruno dress! I've been inspired lately by French style and its simplicity and I think this captures that chic sensibility.

Scarlet from Woolmark (the most important wool supplier in the world) was kind enough to arrange a meeting with the girls from Belinda International (a retail store comparable to Intermix meets Barney's meets Kirna Zabete) to pull a few things for our week in Melbourne.
I instantly fell in love with the quirky cool vibe of the Marni accessories. There is something crafty about them yet they still seem luxurious.
I also pulled a Vanessa Bruno dress that I wore tonight and will share pictures tomorrow! I met so many amazing people tonight at the Governor's Ball which kicked off the LMFF (L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival) festivities. Aussie fashion folk are actually super nice!...very refreshing compared to the New York or European scene.
Check back for more pics later!
