Happy Wednesday! I've mentioned a few times recently that I've been trying to slowly switch myself over into a healthier lifestyle and the hardest change has been in skin care. I'm literally a few days away from turning the big 3-0 and it seems like everything I put in my body or onto my skin has either a positive or negative effect rather quickly. My sister–in-law, as a new mommy, is HUGE into the natural lifestyle and has been schooling me on what is good and bad. I'm getting there slowly and I love to hear about new products that use natural ingredients as much as possible.

Burt's Bees reached out about their new Daisy Extract brightening face care, which they are excited to call "Nature's Retoucher". I thought it would be a great opportunity to test out more natural products and let nature do its thing. I don't really have any dark spots (yet!) but I am very concerned about brightening and having an even skin-tone and their products are clinically proven with make a visible difference in all of those areas.  The daisy flower is sustainably collected from the mountains of Macedonia and then the extract is combined with a multi-fruit complex.  I was quite pleased with my results. I barely touched up the photos here so maybe they really are onto something!

On a side note, my sister-in-law just happened to have a friend who had a bee colony in their backyard garden area.  It was just too gorgeous to pass up and kind of perfect for this post!
