Happy Monday! It's impossible for me to get a case of the Mondays now because my bedroom is so absurdly happy and bright! I picked up the West Elm bedding and I'm so excited about how it looks with the wall. I'm usually a really subdued neutral person but I need a little excitement in my life right now. Also, David Bromstad said it looked "fab" on Twitter which made my life since he's the King of Color.
Last month I told you about my partnership with Paul Mitchell and let you in on my curl confession and how the summer moisture makes the curls spring right up.. well in the winter I need a little more help from product and tools to help keep the curl, which ultimately is more like a beachy wave because it wants to stay on the straight side. The end result is something like this above. I used more of the Paul Mitchell curl products (specifically the Twirl Around Definer along with the shampoo) and a 1 1/2 inch curling iron. I think it's important to not only use a product when your hair is wet but also use a tiny bit on dry hair after you curl to tame any extra fluffiness. Make sure to join me by leaving your curl confession and if you're interested in the products you can find them here! I get excited to be able to have lots of versatility to my hair so I'll try to do more hair posts and tutorials as the seasons change. x
