Happy Wednesday! Transporting back to France today to show you the beautiful layers of history that unfold as you walk through the streets of Arles. I was surprised by how much I loved this city. I ended up staying at a beautiful hotel in Arles (more on that soon) because I couldn't get 3 nights in a row at the country hotel that was closer to the Luberon Valley. I researched enough to know that it was a good place to base myself if I wanted to explore the region but I now can't believe there weren't more glowing reviews or mentioned as a must-do on everyone's itinerary. It's a bit like Rome where the layers of history just unfold with every twist and turn and the way they keep that integrity is just so beautiful. It has one of the best preserved Coliseums in the world and I just fell in love with the beautiful ruin and how the light filtered through and created these gorgeous shadows. I always go for something casual and these pants are a great sub for jeans because they have an elastic waistband (woot!) and a relaxed leg. I also thought these pony hair papaya colored slides were just too adorable to not bring with me and I ended up wearing them a ton because they are a great neutral. I'll send through my hotel and restaurant recommendations on the next Arles post coming soon!
