Happy Tuesday! I can't think of anything better lately than scaling it all back and approaching dressing up as a lifestyle and self-empowerment process. When I had my apartment on the Upper West Side in NYC I felt empowered by my surroundings and constantly dressed for the sprawling concrete jungle that tested me daily. It was fast-paced and the need to be polished was ever-present. I loved that uptown vibe but I now find myself riffling through my closet and some of those things just don't work as easily anymore. I also find that the whole "workout tights are the new jeans" movement is something I can really learn to love. It's partly because most of my life I spent running wild on a sports field and it comes more natural to me to embrace that athlete side. It's also partly because the activewear brands are really doing an awesome job bridging that gap between style and a lifestyle. That's really what it's about: finding the things that work for YOUR lifestyle.
Have a good day!
